Iconic Art & Design festivals around the world

We were at the Salone del Mobile last year and the super cool design and architecture showcases blew us away as well as inspiring us greatly. Every small installation and artwork was made with such a creative zeal that it made us think how great it is to have art and creativity promoted in this way.


So we thought, what are some of the most iconic art & design fests in other parts of the world, which led me to write this piece.

From Milan’s renowned design extravaganza to the bustling streets of Mumbai, these festivals celebrate a myriad of artistic and design expressions. Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, Mumbai


The Kala Ghoda Arts Festival is India’s largest multicultural celebration, held every February in the bustling streets of South Mumbai. The festival’s name originates from the historic black horse statue in the area, which symbolizes its cultural roots. Venice Biennale

Burning Man, Nevada

Dutch Design Week, Eindhoven
